Activision announced today that the Call of Duty: Next event will take place on September 15, during which the multiplayer sector of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be revealed, but not only: the publisher announces that the event will also reveal to us "the imminent future of Call of Duty, including many new details about Modern Warfare II, information on the upcoming Call of Duty: Warzone and more information on the mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone".

The publisher has also taken the opportunity to reveal the dates when we will be able to try the Beta of the game on Xbox and PC, complete with cross-play support. This will be divided into two phases, the Early Access for those who pre-ordered the title will take place on 22 and 23 September, while the Open Beta for all players will take place from 24 to 26 September.
