FIFA 23: reveal trailer and release set for late September
Electronic Arts today unveiled FIFA 23 and the next evolution of HyperMotion2 technology (only available on next-generation and PC versions), which sets a new standard for realistic and immersive gaming on the field. FIFA 23 will feature women's club teams for the first time with the inclusion of the Barclays Women's Super League and Division 1 Arkema at launch, expanding its position as the world's most authentic football experience.
Players will also be able to experience the pinnacle of international men's and women's football in FIFA 23, with the FIFA Men's World Cup Qatar 2022 and the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023 as post-launch updates at no extra cost. Cross-play features will connect and engage football fans like never before and will be available in different online game modes in FIFA 23.
Advances in FIFA 23's HyperMotion2 technology and physics system have unlocked a number of new features that make the gaming experience more immersive than ever. The movements of the team and players on the field are more responsive, intelligent and authentic, whether it is fighting against a defender or claiming an aerial ball against an attacker such as a goalkeeper. Players will also benefit from a new intelligent dribbling system, a more natural and smooth transition to shooting, brand new acceleration mechanics, increased player awareness and much more. With the debut of women's club teams, new animations inspired by the movements of real players have been added to FIFA 23 .
The world's most faithful gaming experience, FIFA 23 now features women's club teams with the Barclays Women's Super League and Division 1 Arkema joining the biggest stars and teams, including 19,000+ players in 700+ teams in over 100 stadiums and more than 30 leagues. FIFA 23 is the only game where you can play the iconic UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League, CONMEBOL Libertadores, CONMEBOL Sudamericana, Premier League, Bundesliga and LaLiga Santander.
FIFA 23 features a number of advancements and innovations in Career, Pro Club, VOLTA FOOTBALL, FIFA 23 Ultimate Team and more. The Training Center's new training system will also give new and less experienced players the chance to easily learn the fundamentals of the game and hone their skills before jumping into a game.
For the first time, fans will also have the opportunity to play the FIFA Men's and Women's World Cup in the same game, with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023, with further details to be provided later.
