The Polish team Bloober Team, known for horror/thriller adventures such as Layers of Fear, Blair Witch, The Medium and Observer, announced today that its new project will be announced soon (at the Summer Game Fest, we suppose), and although they did not want to anticipate what it will be, they have released the image you find above.

The image is accompanied by the phrase "Dig beneath the surface and discover the origin of your fears." Our hypothesis is that it may be Layers of Fear 3, given the image (the paintings are a recurring theme of the series) and the presence of the word "fear" in the sentence. And according to recent rumors, it could be called Layers of Fears (yes, with the final s). If so we will find out in a few days!
