2K reveals the Chamber of Chaos, the endgame experience of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands
our more or less demanding ride, depending on how brave we feel.
A race to the Chamber of Chaos consists of three randomized dungeon rooms, a mini-boss fight, three more dungeon rooms, and a main boss fight. Players will work through the Chamber of Chaos, selecting between two portals after each room to determine what awaits them in the next. Additional factors include:
- Crystals: During the race to the Chamber of Chaos, players can collect and use Crystals to earn more rewards. Players can accumulate crystals by breaking a crystal clear and bright die like the rainbow that is born after completing a room, and completing optional secondary objectives that are randomly assigned to each room;
- Blessings: By collecting enough crystals to activate an altar, players can receive blessings, ranging from increased critical damage or ammunition capacity, melee attack and speed of movement buffs, and more;
- Curses: The opposite of Blessings, Curses are debuffs that last for the rest of the race and can make it much harder for players to survive, but with a higher risk you get better rewards.
After completing the Chamber of Chaos, in the Loot of Chaos area a chest full of desirable loot awaits us to take. We will also earn "Moon Orbs", an in-game currency that we can spend on an Enchantment Re-roller station to fine-tune our favorite equipment. For those withered with the loot, however, the real reward of the Chamber of Chaos could hide in the belly of the statues of thorny and somewhat disturbing rabbits that will vomit the equipment if fed with enough crystals.
We leave you to a trailer showing this mode, while we remind you that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is expected for March 25th.
