By now it is known that it is very difficult to find availability of Xbox Series X in stores, while for the "little sister" S things are better. In an interview with the New York Times, however, Phil Spencer explained that the problems of availability of the console are not due to a low production but to the incredible demand that has been created.

Spencer explained that Microsoft is producing and putting on the market more consoles than it produced a year after the launch in the past generations, but that these are still sold out quickly. The result is that the Xbox Series X|S generation is the fastest selling Xbox generation of all, so destined to break the sales records set by the previous ones, including the popular Xbox 360.

Spencer then explains that the company's task now is to be able to further increase production in order to cope with the increase in demand. We hope they succeed!
