Microsoft has announced that also this year, to accompany the long-awaited event The Game Awards,theID@Xbox Winter Game Fest Demowill take place, a two-week event - from 7 to 21 December - during which we will be able to play in preview with demo versions of numerous unpublished independent titles, some of which are highly anticipated by fans.

The full list of available demos will be announced in the coming days, but for now some have been revealed. Here they are illustrated below.

Loot River: Set in a series of procedurally generated labyrinths, Loot River is an action-roguelike dungeon crawling that combines the tension, real-time combat, and dark fantasy style of Dark Souls with the block space puzzles of Tetris.

DeathTrash : Characterized by a post-apocalyptic world in which cosmic horrors crave humanity but are faced by punks with shotguns. The game combines old-school RPG, modern action gameplay and player freedom. Create your own character and explore this unique handmade world.

Blacktail : A retelling of Baba Yaga's origin story set in surreal and gloomy Slavic folklore. A unique blend of exploration and intense archery combat with a dark story. Become a fearsome guardian of the forest or the terror on which nightmares are based.

The Tale of Bistun: An action-adventure game inspired by the 12th century tragic poem "Khosrow and Shirin". You play as a stone carver who wakes up on Mount Bistun with no memory of anything before that moment. An insidious plague has spread, bringing with it many dangerous enemies. You have to fight through mythical enemies and travel between the real world and an etherether place of forgotten memories to discover the secret of your past.

Nobody Savesthe World : Complete missions to discover and transform into more than 15 varied and distinct shapes. Mix and match skills to unlock and complete even more challenging missions as you explore a vast world and its extensive dungeons, alone or with a friend online, to stop the Calamity and save the world!
