In recent days we had already had some clues that Forza Horizon 5 would be a great success: even before the official launch, in the early access period reserved for those who purchased the Premium edition or the Premium upgrade for the Game Pass, the title had quickly exceeded one million paying players.

But today we had the confirmation of such success: Phil Spencer has in fact shared in a tweet the excellent results of the title obtained yesterday, the day of launch, revealing that the title has exceeded 4.5 million players, tripling the peak of contemporary players recorded by Forza Horizon 4.

These results have made Playground Games' title the most successful launch for an Xbox Game Studios title to date, cementing both the British studio and the franchise itself as major pillars for the Xbox ecosystem.
