Square Enix today announced a new action-RPG from the sci-fi saga Star Ocean: Star Ocean: The Divine Force will arrive in 2022 curated by tri-Ace, transporting us to a vast fantasy and sci-fi world during a journey full of frantic combat, rich explorations and an original story.

With a vast cast of playable characters, Star Ocean: The Divine Force tells a story halfway between fantasy and science fiction that will delight both old fans of the series and new players. The game includes two protagonists,who offer different perspectives on the story and the game experience: Raymond, the captain of the commercial spaceship Ydas, and Laeticia, the warrior princess of a kingdom on an underdeveloped planet. Fate will bring together Raymond, Laeticia and the other allies, all designed by the famous artist Akiman.

These are the basic features of the game:

• Fast-paced action battles.
• No random encounters: players will enter into battle smoothly with the enemies that populate the world.
• Possibility to float in the air, dive on enemies and flutter around the various areas.
• More exploration: climb towering mountains, walk through wide, dark valleys, and investigate inside the world's castles and cities.
