It seems that Ubisoft is developing a real passion for free-too-play and the game as a servicemodel: it's only been three months since TomClancy's XDefiant announced that publisher French announces another F2P FPS: Ghost Recon Frontline.

As the title suggests, the new shooter is set in the world of Ghost Recon, but unlike the other titles in the series, here we have an exclusively PvPfocus .

Developed by Ubisoft Bucharest for old and new generation consoles, Ghost Recon Frontline will offer us a new point of view on the Ghost Recon universe, with a PvP experience for more than 100 players. The game will immerse us in the new island of Drakemoor, an open world full of landmarks and biomes. We will have at our disposal a wide range of tactical support equipment that will offer us total freedom in strategic planning through different modes.

Expedition,the main mode of the game, will offer a new approach to the battle royalegenre. Here more than 100 players in teams of three will compete by completing the objectives but without the typical circle that narrows: once the necessary information is collected, players will have to reach the drop zone and ask for a draw. As soon as it is done, all the teams will know the location of the draw and will try to intervene, so we will have to plan a tactic to be able to escape and win the match. However, the game will also offer other modes that will be revealed in the future.

Ghost Recon Frontline will offer us a system of classes that allows us to update and customize each mercenary to adapt to different strategies. The first three classes revealed are:

• Assault Class: Great support in close combat and during exploration maneuvers.
• Support Class: Offers great protection with fortification skills.
• Reconnaissance Class: Can easily make an inspection of the area for the team, discovering and attacking enemies from a distance, without fear of retaliation.

Players will be able to switch between different mercenaries even in the heart of a battle, making each game a unique and extremely tactical experience.
