THQ Nordic and Appeal Studios have announced Outcast 2: A New Beginning for next-gen consoles. This is the sequel to the title released 20 years ago, an action-adventure that will see us act precisely twenty years after the events of the first game.

The title is set on the alien planet of Adelpha, threatened by the invasion of corporations that are exploiting the planet and enslaving people for their own interests. We will then have to resume the role of the protagonist Cutter to organize the resistance, save the population and drive out the invaders.

The game will be characterized by an open world that can also be freely explored vertically thanks to the use of the jetpack, with third-person combat and a non-linear story advancement system, based on the choices we will make during the adventure.
