During gamescom's Opening Night Live live, 2K and Firaxis (XCOM) announced a new title set in the Marvel universe: Marvel's Midnight Suns, a tactical RPG coming in March 2022 that will see some of the most famous Marvel characters such as Wolverine, Doctor Strange and Ms. Marvel engaged.

Marvel's Midnight Suns is a new tactical GdR set in the dark side of the Marvel Universe that will bring players to deal with supernatural forces alongside the Midnight Suns, earth's last line of defense against the underworld. In a strange combination of magic and science, the evil forces of Hydra have awakened Lilith, the mother of demons, after centuries of numbness. Lilith will stop at nothing to fulfill an ancient prophecy and summon her evil master, Chthon. Now exhausted, the Avengers decide to fight fire with fire and ask for help from the Midnight Suns, a group of young heroes with powers of supernatural origin, formed by Nico Minoru, Blade, Magik and Ghost Rider in order to prevent the same prophecy that Lilith wants to make come to pass. Together, they bring back to life an ancient legend: Hunter, Lilith's heir and the only heroic creature to have ever defeated her.

The announcement trailer of the game shows us the resurrection of Hunter, the first original hero fully customizable in the Marvel Universe. Developed by Firaxis Games, the legendary studio that created the acclaimed Civilization and XCOM franchises, Marvel's Midnight Suns will present a series of iconic heroes including Avengers, X-Men, Runaways and others, cinematic tactical combat with the unique charm of superheroes, friendships that will impact the game and an unforgettable adventure starring the dark side of Marvel.

The gameplay of the game will be revealed in September, but in the meantime here is the spectacular announcement trailer.
