The Coalition, the studio responsible for the Gears of Warseries, has finally released the videos of the two short tech demos of Unreal Engine 5 shown last week at the Game Developers Conference. Both run in real-time on Xbox Series X,and while the first, Alpha Point,is a rendering test of a setting with dynamic lighting, ray tracing, and particle effects, the latter is a realistic rendering test of a character.

The two demos are very short but enough to show us the type of graphics that the Canadian studio could produce in its next title which, according to some rumors, could be a separate project from the Gears of War series. Here they are!
