June 2021 was a great month for Xbox and not only thanks to the splendid E3 during which the company showed one of the best Showcases in the history of the brand, but also thanks to the hardware sales that, probably, were driven by that Showcase

The market analysis company NPD has in fact published the US sales data for June revealing that, while Nintendo Switch continues to be the best-selling console, Xbox Series X and S have recorded the highest receipts of the month, and not only: Xbox has marked its absolute sales record for the month of June, surpassing the previous record of June 2011, when Xbox 360 was in full boom driven by the great success of Kinect.

A further excellent result for the platform, which shows how despite the large investments in Cloud Gaming and cross-platform support, Xbox consoles are still the main driver for the success of the brand. So congratulations to Phil Spencer and his team!
