As fans of the series will know, Konami has taken a sabbatical year to develop the new PES which, apparently, should make many significant improvements related to the technical sector, thanks to the use of the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine and no longer the Fox Engine, the gameplay and the game setting screens.

Surprisingly, today Konami has released an Online Performance Test - cross gen - just for PES 2022,giving it the singular title of"New Football Game",downloadable already today from the inviting users to verify the stability and quality of the connection to Konami's servers, but also the efficiency of the matchmaking system through 1vs1 matches.

The Japanese giant informs us that all the elements of the gameplay (controls, balance and anything else also dedicated to the new generation consoles) are still under development, therefore subject to changes and improvements in the future.
