Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Flying Wild Hog have announced the interesting next-gen console side-scrolling action game Trek to Yomi, with release scheduled for 2022. The game is set in the world of ancient Japanese samurai,and is crafted with a black-and-white graphic technique inspired by classic Akira Kurosawa movies.

As a vote to his dying master, the young swordsman Hiroki has vowed to protect his city and the people he loves by facing all threats. Thelone samurai must travel beyond life and death to confront and decide their own destiny.
