South Korean publisher NEOWIZ and developer Round8 Studio, former authors of MMORPG Bless Unleashed,have announced the development for next-generation consoles of Lies of P,souls-like action-RPG that is based on a singular premise: it is inspired by the adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi, but transposed into a Gothic and Baroque world.

Lies of P tells pinocchio's story like we've never seen it before. As the mechanoid puppet Pinocchio we will have to explore a dark world inspired by the Belle Epoque,where all humanity is now lost. The once beautiful city of Krat has become a living hell, and we will have to find the famous Master Geppetto to unravel the mystery of what happened both to us and to the world around us.

In the game we will make our way through a ruined city, building weapons from recovered materials, and interacting with the few to survive in this pre-industrial hell. In the course of these interactions, the more we lie and the more human we become, with all the advantages and disadvantages that this will entail. The developers promise a detailed crafting system, deep narrative choices and an extremely customizable character progression.
