Bethesda shows us the next-gen update of TESO: Tamriel Unlimited
Here is the list of all the planned improvements, of which you can also get a taste in the trailer below.
- Next-generation performance: Previously, ESO on console ran at 30 FPS, but thanks to the next-generation power of Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, the game will run at 60 FPS in "Performance Mode". Those who want to redo their eyes with graphics can try 4K resolution at 30 FPS with ESO's"Fidelity Mode".
- Increased viewing distance: For players who like to admire the immense beauty of ESO,the game's viewing distance has almost doubled, allowing you to see tamriel's ever-expanding world better.
- Improved uploads: Harnessing the power of the next generation means uploads have almost been halved on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, allowing players to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of ESO with reduced waits.
- AND MORE: ESO: Improved console version will bring many more improvements to reflections, shadows, depth of field and environmental occlusion with global Screen Space lighting, as well as updated anti-aliasing and unlocked textures.
The update will come along with the expected Blackwood expansion, which will allow us to discover the dahedric plans and tyrannical machinations that consume the region, tracing links with the prince of destruction and his terrible plans for Tamriel. Although Blackwood's is an independent story, its events delve into the broader Oblivion Gates saga that will take place throughout 2021.
The new Companions system will also beavailable, designed to no longer make our players venture alone even in singles. Once unlocked through Blackwood's main story, players can choose from two new teammates to start with which they can select the equipment and skills to develop. Each companion has their own personality, unique sympathies and dislikes and missions. And you also have to be careful how you behave, because the player's actions affect the relationship with the teammate.
Now let's leave you to the trailer for the next-gen update and the Blackwood update: good view!
