Turtle Rock Studios, the studio author of Left 4 Dead and the most unfortunate Evolve,today announced that the new cooperative zombie shooter Back 4 Blood will no longer arrive as planned in June, but has been postponed to October 12. On the other hand, this summer we can still start playing it thanks to an OpenBeta.

In the postponing announcement message, developers make it clear that more time was needed to make a title that lives up to expectations:

TurtleRock Studios is working hard to make Back 4 Blood the best possible game at launch, and the team needs more time to do so. Therefore, we will release Back 4 Blood on October 12, 2021. We thank our community for its continued support and are excited to share that there will be an open Beta this summer."
