Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have announced the development of the new Samurai Warriors 5,an eastern action game that will catapult players into the Sengoku period, focusing the game's spotlight on characters Nobunaga Oda and Mitsuhide Akechi. According to the viluppo team, the product will reflect a kind of new reimagining of the franchise, including a completely new plot, as well as a totally new character design and graphic design.

The team will present all the news through a series of monthly livestreams until the release of the game whose date has not yet been announced: the first livestream will arrive on February 25.
