Hello Games announced today that the popular No Man's Sky space simulator will receive a free upgrade to the launch of Xbox Series X and S introducing major visual improvements and more.

On the new consoles, the game will show off alien environments with denserand more lush flora, with more resolution textures and more detailed geometries,all with improved lighting, volumetric effects and visual distance. The game will also go to 4K and 60 fps on Xbox Series X,while on Series S we can choose between high quality graphics at 30 fps and maximum performance at 60 fps.

But the update will not only improve graphics: we can now build more complex bases with more elements, and we can participate in multiplayer sessions of 32 players. And, of course, the loading and jumping times in hyperspace will be greatly reduced thanks to the internal SSD.
