Phil Spencer confirms the future arrival of xCloud on PCs and consoles

Since mid-September, all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription owners have the option to use Cloud Streaming (formerly known as Project xCloud) on their Android phones, and for many it has already become a habit to play on their phones when you don't have the console available; However, many are hoping for the service to arrive on larger screens.

And this is precisely the subject of a question to which Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft's gaming division, responded on Twitter; Asked whether the service could arrive on both PC and console, so that we could try/play the titles without having to install them, Spencer replies:"Yes, we're going to do it. It's on the long list of great things the xCloud team is working on, just a little bit down on the list. But we want console and PC players to be able to explore games as easily as mobile gamers do, it's a great feature of the Game Pass."

In the future, we can then try streaming games from our Xboxes or PCs before deciding whether to install them, and we'll probably be able to play Xbox Series X exclusive titles (such as The Medium)from Xbox One, without having to own the new console. Obviously internet bandwidth permitting!
