EA and Criterion Games today announced the development of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered,a remastered edition of the racing game released 10 years ago, in 2010, playable on our consoles from November 6. The game will feature improved graphics and an asynchronous cross-platform multiplayer powered by Autolog,the feature that allows players to connect, compare and compete with their friends.

The game will also include all the main DLCs, which will offer six more hours of gameplay and over 30 challenges.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered showcases graphical improvements to the world of Seacrest County, where winding roads and exotic supercars will offer a sense of adrenaline-fuelled speed. A thorough career for single players will offer action on both sides of the law, where tactically armed cops can arrest their suspects and pilots can level the playing field with counterattacks and defensive maneuvers. Through a multiplayer experience available in all race modes, players can enjoy their solo careers or challenge friends to earn rewards and unlock new cars, weapons and equipment. Unpublished lenses, car colors, reduced sharp braking, an updated photo mode and multiple besties make this the perfect time to reignite the chase from both sides of the law. After launch, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will also see the addition of car wrapping,which will offer players even more customization options.
