Electronic Arts has announced that the new edition of its ice hockey simulation, NHL 21,will arrive on October 16, again showing Stanley Cup winner Alex Ovechkinon the cover. The new chapter will create a revamped Be A Pro experience, expanded and creative gameplay, a new Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT) RUSH and world of CHEL integrations, giving players the opportunity to create their own style and legacy just as if they were Ovechkin.

NHL 21 will bring a breath of fresh air to the franchise with a revamped Be A Pro mode. The new Be A Pro experience enhances the game's life story, giving players the chance to live like an NHL star, on and off the ice rink. Impress the front office, take part in draft day and chase success as players earn a front-line spot, compete for the Stanley Cup and become the best in the league. Players can make their way from a lively bottom six to become an incredible superstar.

The gameplay in NHL 21 has become even smarter, faster and much more flashy, with innovative moves and huge improvements on various aspects of the game. Gamers will have even more options to take control of the game and impose their own style on their opponents. They can also impress with slips, banks and chips, while using some of the moves inspired by the most famous superstars. However, players will also be able to take advantage of better goalkeeper positioning and control, which is adapting to a very fast level of gameplay ability with new moves and animations.
