Halo Infinite: new cover image, confirms the presence of the grappling hook

Ahead of the halo Infinitegameplay revelation, expected tomorrow at the Xbox Games Showcaselive, Microsoft today released Halo Infinite'snew "key art," which will serve as the basis for the game's cover that will no longer be the one seen so far.

The new image, which you can see at the top and in a "vertical" detail at the bottom, has a look-and-feel that recalls the cover of the very first Halo, with a Master Chief in the foreground and the ring scenery in the background. But it also reveals other things.

First, we see a new device appear on Master Chief's left forearm: it's the noisy grappling hook, which will radically change the crossing of the ring's landscapes, adding an additional element of verticality to the gameplay.

In the image we can also see how the ring (it should be the Zeta Halo, or Installation 07) is heavily damaged, with floating areas that will require the use of the Pelican to be reached. We also notice on the right a Wasp aircraft (introduced in Halo 5) shot down, as well as numerous mysterious structures that will obviously be the subject of our explorations. The most attentive will also notice, in the reflection of Master Chief, the already noisy new enemy, the brute Atriox.

What do you think? Are there extremes for a return in style? We believe so!
