Konami today released the announcement trailer and a voluminous set of images of eFootball PES 2021 Season Update, the new football title coming on September 15th that, as already known, will re-propose all the features of PES 2020 with the update of the roses to the new season. The study also clarified that the game will also include the UEFA EURO 2020 mode and its dedicated content, in preview of the programming of the actual tournament (deferred to 2021).

Konami also wanted to clarify that eFootball PES 2021 Season Update will only be sold in stand-alone, digital or disc versions, and that no DLC will be offered for PES 2020 owners to update the title to new content. It's a new game, although technically, in terms of modes and gameplay, we'll find last year's game.

The game will also be sold in two editions (the second of which, as you can read below, actually represents several editions):

• STANDARD EDITION – With a stunning cover dedicated to Lionel Messi, a tribute to one of the undisputed stars in football history, the Standard Edition of PES 2021 will be available in both physical and digital format.
• PARTNER CLUB EDITION – For the first time, you will be able to purchase special versions of PES 2021 dedicated to individual teams exclusively in digital version. Versions dedicated to fans of Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United, Bayern Munich andArsenalwill be available, these special editions will include specific content for their respective teams such as formations for myClub, players for the Iconic Moments series, exclusive game estates, themed menus and more.

The Japanese study also announced some benefits for PES 2020 owners:

• FEDELTA' DISCOUNT – To thank the most passionate and loyal PES users it will be possible to get a 20% discount on the booking of one of the Club Edition versions of PES 2021 if done by eFootball PES 2020 (including the LITE version).
• VETERAN BONUS – For myClub players of eFootball PES 2020 there will be a Veteran Bonus available with several rewards commensurate with the progress achieved in the game. Details about rewards and what progress in the game will be tied will be announced on the official website.
