Square Enix announced today a surprise development of a new Kingdom Hearts for current consoles, and equally surprise this time it is not a JRPG: Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is in fact a rythm game in which we will play accompanied by over 140 songs and Disney and the world of Kingdom Hearts.

The game will offer us four different game modes, including one dedicated to online battles with other players; we don't know anything else yet, but we'll leave you with the Japanese ad trailer and a set of images from the game. Have a good look!
