Bandai Namco announces Scarlet Nexus action game

In the distant future, the discovery of a psionic hormone in the human brain allows people to obtain extra-sensory powers and forever changes the world.
Right at the beginning of this new era for humanity, crazy mutants known as Strangers come to earth, hungry for human brains. Due to the extreme resistance of these monsters to conventional attack methods, drastic measures are taken to fight them and save humanity.
People with particularly developed mental abilities, known as psychedelics, become the only chance to stem the slaughter. Even today, the psychedelics are selected based on their talent and recruited into the Foreign Suppression Force (ESF), the last line of defense of mankind.
Play as Yuito Sumeragi, a new ESF recruit who wants to become an elite member to emulate the soldier who saved him when he was a child. In SCARLET NEXUS,you'll have to arm yourself with the ability of psychokinesis to explore the futuristic city of New Himuka and uncover the mysteries of a psycho-punk-style world where technology and mental skills coexist.
