Nearly two years after the annuncio SOEDESCO and Team Junkfish have revealed that survival horror Monstrum finally has a console release date: May 22, 2020. However, due to the current pandemic, only the digital version of the game will initially be available, the physical version will only be available later.

Monstrum will catapult us into an abandoned cargo ship from which we will have to escape by facing three different monsters, the Beast,the Demon and the Hunter, each of whom will behave differently, requiring a different type of approach.

In addition to this will be added the factthat, being the game a survival horror generated in a procedural way, each game will always be unique and different and will force the player to face new fears and invent new tactics given mainly by the change of the arena and the alternation of the various monsters.

To make things even more complicated, the developers inform that the game will also feature permanent death,so if we succumb to the attempt to escape from the monsters that populate the game world, we will be forced to start the whole adventure from the beginning.

The announcement of the release date was accompanied by a film that shows us in more detail some of the settings of the new survival horror of SOEDESCO and Team Junkfish; Good vision!
