Bandai Namco has announced the first DLC that will introduce a series of novelties in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot:the content will be called A New Power Awakens and the first of the two parts that make up the DLC will be available from April 28, 2020 exclusively for Season Pass holders.

Introducing the contents of the new Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC is directly the game's producer, Hara Ryousuke:

"In this first additional content from Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, fans will be able to unlock the Super Saiyan God Vegeta and Super Saiyan God Goku transformations and use them throughout the main story. With the arrival of Beerus, Vegeta and Goku will have to fight side by side to defeat him in this boss battle.

Beerus, who is at Level 250, is an opponent to pay close attention to, especially as players won't be able to use the full range of items they own to defeat him.

Beerus is so strong, my judgment for this battle is 1 in 10."

The producer then specified that those who will not be able to purchase the first part of the new DLC because they do not have the Season Pass, will have to wait for the release, set for the current year, of the second part of the DLC, thus purchasing the full content.
