Xbox Series X revelation surpasses E3's interest levels

It will have been the surprise effect that no rumour had been able to anticipate or perhaps the form factor that made a lot of talk about itself, or even the spectacular revelation of the new Hellblade, the fact is that the revelation of Xbox Series X at The Game Awards seems to have been even more effective, for Microsoft, of the announcements made at E3.

Taking a look at the Xbox YouTube channel alone, not to mention the many channels and sites that mirrored it, the console announcement video has so far doubled the views of the Project Scarlett ad made at E3, with 7.3 million views compared to 3.3 of E3. But the trailer for Senua's Saga: Hellblade II also got impressive results: it was seen by 1 million users,more than any other Xbox title at E3 except Halo Infinite.

This, in addition to proving that such an announcement was the right choice for Microsoft, also confirms The Game Awards as one of the most important video game events of the year, along with E3, Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show.
