UPDATE: Remedy posted a tweet stating that the information released by Spencer is incorrect and that the studio currently has no announcements to make about Control's presence in the Game Pass. ORIGINAL NEWS: Many had expected it or at least hoped for it, but now we have confirmation from Phil Spencer himself: Remedy Entertainment's fascinating action-adventure, Control,is coming to the Xbox Game Pass. During the Mixer show "Extra Life", to which he was invited, the executive stated: "I think Control is really nice. It hasn't reached enough people, so I'm glad it's coming into the Game Pass, hoping it's played by more people."

This is an unusual announcement, not preceded by the usual official tweets or announcements that reveal the new titles coming to the service: that Spencer missed an unofficial announcement? However, the official is now there for sure since the "chief of bosses" of Xbox was the one who spoke; we just have to wait to know the date of arrival in the service!
