New on all fronts for Apex Legends ahead of Christmas
The latest news from Respawn is not about new maps or Legends (for which you will have to wait for the next Season) and are dedicated to important contour elements, such as the progression system and the fleet of customizations at players' disposition.
Starting today, in fact, the level cap provided in Apex Legends is raised to level 500 (the previous limit was 100), making more rewarding the commitment of assiduous players, who in this way will see recognized their dedication to the game: remaining the prize of 600 tokens for each level reached, continuing to play it will be possible to get a much greater number of packages, which will be recognized according to this scheme:
- Levels 2 - 20: one pack each level
- Levels 22 - 300: one pack for every 2 levels
- Levels 305 - 500: one pack for every 5 levels
It's worth pointing out that the recognition of these packages is retroactive,so players stuck at the old level-cap of 100 will be handed over packages they would have already earned with the new system.
Depending on the new system, the progress between levels has also been revised, making it a little less demanding in terms of the overall XP required and above all more "sweet" for the players at the beginning: the maximum value of points required for a level, but this threshold will only be activated from level 58, whereas in the previous system it was already level 26.
Players will also be able to earn new honors (every ten levels) and new lucky charms to apply to weapons (every 100 levels). Speaking of luck-holder: 36 will be introduced as epic/legendary items in packages, or can be purchased on rotation with in-game transactions.
On the subject of purchases, we point out two new initiatives that could interest fans of the game.
As of today, a retail version of the game is available (it would seem at least currently on the American market) that brings together the two physical editions put on sale for some time. This Double Pack, proposed at 38.99 euros, also contains 2,150 coins, thus going to reward those who want to buy it, compared to the single editions that each contain 1,000 coins: we will see if and when it will also arrive on Italian soil.
Finally, we take this opportunity to remember that for about two weeks it has been open https://playapexshop.com/, the online store that offers T-shirts, sweatshirts, objects and much more: with Christmas coming up, an interesting place for an Apex Legendsthemed gift !
PS: Speaking of Jedi: Fallen Order, there is a news story in these hours that to celebrate the game's release, everyone who will access Apex Legends by December 14 will be given a BD-1 skin for Pathfinder. Although the voice seems to be trustworthy, there are currently no confirmations on the official EA website, nor do you know the details, such as the platforms considered and the date from which the promotion will be activated.
