EA and Respawn Entertainment have announced that from October 15 to November 5, the"Fight or Fright"event will take place in Apex Legends, dedicated to the Halloweenparty. In addition to the usual presence of dedicated cosmetic elements, including two legendary skins that can be achieved by overcoming the challenges offered during the event, Fight or Fright is noted for the presence of a new limited-time mode: Shadowfall.

In this new version of the game, participants will be able to return to the old map, King's Canyon, but in night mode. In addition, the rules of the battle royale will be significantly altered: each player's game will not end with their own kill, since at that point, in pure Halloween spirit, they will be transformed into an undead and will return to the game as part of the Shadow team. Members of this team cannot use weapons or abilities, but on the other hand enjoy increased stats for speed of movement, jumping ability, and body-to-body damage.

Once only 10 Legends are left alive, only 10 Legends are left alive, they must reach a rescue ship that will take them to safety before being overwhelmed by the undead' ranks!

As for exclusive cosmetic items, 24 are planned and will be obtainable by direct purchase (with prices set at 1800 Coins for legendary items, 1000 for epic ones), making them, or opening Packages costing 700 Coins Each. Those who unlock all 24 items will receive an exclusive set dedicated to Lifeline as a prize.

Finally, we point out that on the weekend between October 25th and 28th it will be possible to earn double experience points in case of victory or at least placing in the top 5
