Over the course of the New York Comic Con,a major comic book fair that is taking place these days, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have revealed an unexpected character who will join the cast of Marvel's Avengers:it is Kamala Khan , a teenager of Indian descent known in Marvel comics as Ms. Marvel and with the power to enlarge or stretch at will the different parts of her body.

The announcement is accompanied by a trailer showing how Kamala acquired her powers during A-Day, when an accident destroyed the Avengers' elicarrier and (apparently) killed Captain America; On this occasion Kamala was exposed to the earthen mists (the same ones that created the Inhumans)and thus developed her powers. Following this, the girl comes into contact with Bruce Banner who tries to convince Tony Stark to reunite the Avengers, as the girl is in possession of evidence of an alleged conspiracy at the base of the incident. It's an interesting addition to the title, which will add a welcome element of humor and lightness to the story.

Kamala will also play a central role in the game's mechanics: it is in her shoes that we will begin the adventure, discovering the origins of her extraordinary powers. Every time a new superhero joins the roster, we'll have to learn its abilities and rebuild and customize the Avengers team to face increasingly deadly threats, against which only the united Avengers have any chance
