Are you there, sitting in front of your console counting the minutes between 9pm tonight, when Gears 5 will be unlocked for ultimate and Ultimate Game Pass owners? Well, you'll be happy to know that you can play it right away if you have the Ultimate Pass, changing the console region.

The game has just been unlocked (at 11:00 this morning) for New Zealandusers, so you just need to change the console country (from Settings) to New Zealand, leaving the Italian language, to be able to play it right away. Then from 21:00 tonight you can put the console back in Italy, but until then you will have to keep it in NZ in order to play.

Beware though: as anticipated this only works if you have a Game Pass Ultimatesubscription, because if you purchased the game in The Ultimate version the license is tied to the country in which the purchase was made and therefore will unlock only at the 21:00 today. But if you have a Microsoft subscription, you just have to do what's illustrated and start enjoying it right away!
