As promised, at the gamescom SEGA announced a new title: it's Humankind,and from the trailer released it seems to be a kind of RTS/simulator of human evolution, along the lines of Civilization.

These are the features of the game:

• One Million Civilizations – Create your own unique civilization by combining 60 different historical cultures from all over world heritage. Start with the Ancient Egyptians, then move on to the Romans, Khmers or Vikings: the choice is up to you. Each culture has a different kind of gameplay, leading to almost endless results.
• More than history, it's your story - Take on real historical events and figures, make great scientific discoveries and visit the wonders of the world. Shape your people's beliefs and take on other players. Every decision you make adds new features to your story.
• In the eyes of posterity – Travel matters more than destination. Fame is a new and unifying condition of victory. Every great action you take, every moral choice you make, every battle you win will build your fame and leave a mark on the world. The player with the most fame will win the game.
• A Tactical World – Show off your tactical skills. Choose the heights for your city and it will be more difficult to besiege them. Distribute your archers in the woods to avoid crushing the knights. Invite your allies to help you in times of need and turn an epic battle into a world war into large-scale multiplayer!

The movie doesn't announce the platforms, but we hope it also arrives on consoles, while it seems a genre more from PC. Here you go on video.
