Pre-production activities continued for the Halo TVseries, produced by Showtime and Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television; Today the production studio announced that the series, which will start at the beginning of the year, will be broadcast in the first quarter of 2021 and that many of the actors have now been cast.

We already knew that Master Chief will be played by Pablo Schreiber,and now we find out that the charming Natascha McElhone,already seen in Californication, Designated Survivor and Solaris,will impersonate both the AI Cortana that Dr. Catherine Halsey,whose brain structure was right drawn the project for Cortana.

Showtime has finally reiterated once again that this is the most ambitious production in the history of the American broadcaster, with a high budget justified by the large amount of special effects present (the story will also be set on different planets). We can't wait to devour it all!
