Activision reveals multiplayer and CoD Modern Warfare's Open Beta; trailer and details
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer will offer modes for all tastes: from the already revealed Clash 2-on-2 to the traditional 6v6 multiplayer, to modes that support 10v10 and 20v20firefights, to maps that support a high number of players and fights, such as the all-new EarthWar, an epic large-scale mode that supports more than 100players.
With a complete overhaul of the weapons arsenal and a wide variety of possible changes, players will be able to optimize their multiplayer operators with the right setups for each type of combat, thanks to the new system Master of Arms (Gunsmith). In addition, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare promises state-of-the-art visuals, and authentic sound design, with recoil and realistic weapon ballistics. In addition, the game mechanics, including bulletpenetration, gunmounting, door piercing and night-vision night-vision,will bring an extraordinary tactical experience.
All these new features will be testable by everyone in September with an Open Beta that also includes the crossplaytest with the PC, to allow us to try the game ahead of the launch on October 25. In addition, the pre-orders of the game will guarantee early access to the Beta; here are the dates.

Activision finally explains that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare uses a new graphics engine that offers an immersive andphotorealisticexperience. The new technology uses the latest advances in visual engineering, including a physical-based material management system that enables state-of-the-art photogrammetry, a new hybrid tile-based streaming system, a new decal system PBR rendering, a volumetric ambient lighting, 4K HDR and more, like a new GPU geometry pipeline. Spectral rendering enables thermal radiation and infrared identification for the rendering of both the thermal viewer and the night viewer. The technology investment offers a state-of-the-art animation and shape optimization system, while the new suite of audio tools supports the full Dolby ATMOS,on the supported platforms, as well as the latest effects of audio simulation.
