Californian studio Stingbot Games has announced that their scrolling action-platformer The Forbidden Arts will arrive on Xbox One on August 7. The game puts us in the shoes of Phoenix, a hero within the fantasy world of Chora who embarks on a long journey to discover more about himself and fight a powerful evil.

The world of Chora is made up of many different biomes, and this will ensure a wide variety of settings throughout our adventure, from snowy areas to deep caves through treacherous swamps and much more. All rendered with a very vivid and colorful style, and accompanied by the melodies of an acoustic guitar.
