Codemasters today announced that GRID, the new racer expected so far for September 13, will arrive a month late: the new release date is set forOctober 11,but buyers of the Ultimate Edition will still be able to play it with 3 8 October.

The study did not explain the reasons for the postponement, but evidently needed more time to refine the title before the launch.
