505 Games has released the launch trailer for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Koji Igarashi'snew horizontal scrolling GDR, and reminds us that the title is available today on the Games Store for 39.99 euros. The physical version of the game will be available on Xbox One starting Friday, June 21.

Set in 18th-centuryEngland, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night puts us in the shoes of Miriam, an orphan marked by thecurse of an alchemist who is slowly turning the skin into crystal that will fall into a mysterious coma from which he will awaken ten years later. The girl's task will be to reach and explore a castle infested with a legion of demons, stop their summoner Gebel,and find a cure against the curse of the alchemists.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night includes alternative endings and after launch a series of free DLCs will be made available that will include the local multiplayer and online Co-Op andVS, Roguelikemode, Boss Rush, Chaos and the NightmareDifficulty Level.

Boss Rush and Speedrun modes, as well as a new costume for Miriam,will be included in the free "Speed Demon Update" DLC available as early as next week. More free content coming soon will be communicated later.

Starting Tuesday, July 2, it will be available on Xbox One "Iga's Backpack",the first paid DLC that will allow you to fight Koji Igarashi and take possession, once defeated, of his very powerful "Swordwhip".
