In the excitement of the Xbox conference last night, we missed an interesting announcement: Microsoft has created a new internal studio, called simply Age of Empires, dedicated to the development of the titles of the famous Strategic series (so far Confirmed only for PC), so far always entrusted to third-party developers.

This means that, with the announcement of yesterday's Double end acquisition, Xbox Game Studios now climb to 15 Internal studios, ready to churm out a great deal of games in the coming years.
