Team17 and the ex-Rare veterans Team Playtonic Games today announced Yooka-Laylee, followed by the title of 2017 which was proposed as a spiritual Sequel to Banjo-Kazooie. This time, however, the English developers deviate from those origins, proposing a more classic 2.5 D scrolling platform game, with the levels joined by an overworld browsable with top view.

What remains is instead the unmistakable and colorful style of the game world, in addition to the irresistible sympathy of the two protagonists. We can see more of the game during the E3, but in the meantime here is the trailer of announcement full of game scenes!
