Outer Wilds arrives next week and shows up in a launch trailer
The game has already been announced as part of the Xbox game Pass to launch, but those who followed the Microsoft live E3 on Mixer last year will also remember that the game was donated as part Of The Mixpot of the event, so even if you do not have the Pass , but you had followed the event connected with your Live account on Mixer, you can play it for free.
For those who have not followed the game, Outer Wilds is a very atypical space exploration adventure: not only does he see us exploring "handmade" solar system modeled with precision and care in detail in every corner, but also introduces a singular Time loop mechanics of 20 minutes, a little ' backto head' style: No matter where we arrived, our game will reset every 20 minutes, bringing us back to the initial scene where we are close to a bonfire, roasting Marshmallows with an alien.
But this does not mean that every time we have to repeat all over again, because we can exploit all the knowledge learned in the previous loops to progress in the adventure, quickly reach planets that first have required multiple loops and so on. For example, in the first world the aim is to get the spaceship to take off and then travel in the solar system, but this requires an access code that we do not have. By exploring the planet and interacting with the inhabitants, we will progressively get more information until we have the spaceship's unlock code. Having this, the next time reset will no longer be able to explore the planet but we can directly jump on the spaceship, use the code and reach in a few seconds the next planet, and so on.
The announcement of the date of the game is accompanied by the launch trailer and a set of images: Find the following, good vision!
