Shortly after the arrival of the long awaited Anniversary update, the free Update of Sea of Thieves that will introduce, according to the words of the English development team, the Game To a new Golden Age. The novelties are many, from new mechanical PvE to a brand new mode designed for PvP called The Arena.

As far as Adventuremode is concerned, the Classic mode Available From Day One, Rare will introduce several novelties. First of all, players will be able to engage in more relaxing new activities, such as fishing. This mechanics will open new ways to achieve Legendary Pirate status, as a new faction called "The Hunter'S call" and caped By Old Merrick (yes, the legless pirate that months ago had sent us to hunt the Fearsome Megalodonte in The Hungering DEEPDLC), we will propose new challenges of hunting, fishing and cooking. In Fact now every ship will be equipped with a small kitchen, in which to cook various dishes. The fish will also be of different type, and for some of them must use special bait, or fish in certain situations (for example in the middle of the fog, or even in the middle of a storm!).

Among Other novelties are the harpoon, useful both in combat to "hook" the enemy ships, both to make sharp turns without losing speed, harpoking a rock and turning around. Also always thanks to the harpoon will be possible to collect the barrels of resources floating in water or the coffers recovered on the islands.

But the most important novelty in terms of the mode is certainly the new Type of Quest, Titled Tall Tales, which will put us and our crew in search of treasures increasingly valuable examining clues, solving Deadly riddles and deepening more and more the Lore of the game. The first of these, called "Shores Of Gold", is composed of several chapters, scattered throughout the Map of Sea of Thieves and Introducing new sections (caves with traps, wrecks, ancient temples, etc...). All These quests will allow us to earn gold, reputation, exclusive loot and of course the glory that every sea wolf dreams of.

And Speaking of sea Wolves, the new PvP-mode HUB named The Arena will be Called "The Glorious Sea-Wolves Tavern". In This brand new tavern, reachable both from the main menu and in-game in Adventure mode (have you noticed these days the mysterious yard in the center of the map?), managed by the pirate DeMarco, you will have access to challenges, matches, stats, etc. All PvP-centric. Playing in this mode will make us level up in a new faction by unlocking exclusive prizes and loot.
