Star Wars: Battlefront II promotes the new Absolute Supremacy mode
This new mode, undoubtedly among the most articulate ever proposed by the game, consists of two distinct phases.
In the first phase a clash on the mainland is staged for the conquest of five control points. Maintaining control of the majority of control points guarantees the possibility of obtaining more reinforcements. When one of the two struggling factions (Republic and Separatists) gets the maximum number of reinforcements he can embark on appropriate means of transport and attempt the invasion of the enemy flagship, orbiting the battlefield, initiating the second phase.
In This phase the mode assumes the classic attack-defense dynamic: The attacking faction must arm explosive charges on two weak points of the enemy ship and prevent them from being defused before the explosion.
If The defenders are successful in rejecting the enemy assault, we return to the pitched battle of the first phase, until one of the two parties succeeds in the intent of winning both phases, thus victoriously ending a game of Absolute Supremacy.

"Absolute Supremacy", which emphasizes the dynamism and strategic depth of the clashes, is initially playable only on a new game map (as well as on the two admirals ships during the second phase), The Western Piping junction of the planet Geonosis.
