Still a Gearbox announcement during the PAX East: The owners of the current consoles can finally play natively instead of backward compatibility with the Very First Borderlands, in a remastered, revised and corrected edition: The Borderlands: Game of The Year Edition.

Available soon, on April 3, this re-edition of the game (complete WITH all DLC) adds several innovations that improve the gameplay, such as a mini-Map In Borderlands style 2, an improved inventory system and the automatic collection of Ammunition, money and health from the ground.

There Will also be introduced six new legendary weapons, the final boss battle has been made more varied, engaging and satisfying, and for the first time we can customize our character beyond the simple scheme of colors also changing the face (each of 4 present Vault hunters will have 5 different heads to choose from). Obviously We can also expect the decisive improvements in the graphics compared to the original version of the title, with a general increase in the resolution.
