505 Games and Hello Games announced today that in the summer will come Beyond, free update of No Man's Sky that "will introduce a brandnew social/multiplayer gamingexperience" and which developers consider be the most ambitious and great done so far for the game, keeping to emphasize however that they do not want to turn the title into an MMO.

Details of the update's content are not known, but the publisher explains that"Beyond's multiplayer experience is set to revolutionize the player's cooperative approach and offer new ways to explore the universe together. Beyond will not require registration, will not contain micro-transactions and will be completely free for all No Man's Sky players."
