505 Games announced that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night , the new and highly anticipated metroidvania by Koji Igarashi (author of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night ), will arrive on our consoles in summer. This is a side-scrolling action-platformer with RPG elements and set in England in the 18th century.

In Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will just pose as Miriam, an orphan girl hit by a curse of the alchemists who is slowly turning the skin. Miriam falls into a mysterious coma, from which you will awaken a decade later. The girl's task will be reaching and exploring a haunted Castle by a legion of demons, stop their Summoner Gebel, and find a cure for the curse of the alchemists.

These are the main features of the game:

• STYLE "IGAVANIA" – Koji Igarashi, one of the most famous authors of Japanese videogame, created a modern side-scrolling gameplay experience to satisfy the palate of all fans of his earlier work.

• 2.5 HD GRAPHICS – The game environments of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night are rendered in 3D and 2D scrolling within a structure that changes and evolves over the course of the adventure.
• State-of-the-art SOUNDTRACK – this new masterpiece by Koji Igarashi includes a soundtrack created by true legends in the industry: Michiru Yamane ( Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon) and Ippo Yamada ( Resident Evil, Mega Man ).
• The LARGEST CASTLE EVER APPEARED IN a VIDEOGAME of IGA – the game map of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is large almost double those that characterized the previous games made by Koji Igarashi.
