Microsoft announced that all owners of a Live Gold subscription will benefit during this weekend of a free trial of the popular shooter from The Coalition Gears of War 4. You can download and play for free from 21:01 on Thursday, January 31 and February 4 until Monday 8:59.

The free trial allows you then to try the game in on wholeness, from the countryside to various multiplayer modes as the Horde or Escalate and as always, you will save any progress earned during the weekend in If you choose to purchase the full game.

Since its release in October 2016, Gears of War 4 has received many upgrades and in particular update 4 k high definition HDR color, texture and for owners of Xbox One X.
